Very nice!

My attempts at taking the rat trap bond route did not succeed for my farmhouse for a few reasons -

1) The quality of bricks around my farm area is not great and will look ugly if left unplastered. That takes away the exposed look and cost saving on plastering
2) The masons never did it and are super sceptical. They vouch it will take way too long.

Yes, Chandra..its difficult to get workmen to listen to our ideas. Luckily for us, our relative is a experienced civil engineer and we negotiated with the mason on the method before hiring him.  This method also consumes bit more time than the conventional construction method as per the engineer. The bricks quality...locally available was also a issue..so we got them from rajmundry. Wire cut bricks was the preferred choice but were not available.
PS: Talking about ideas: Its really funny to see, that the propounder / inventor of ZBNf.....subhash palekar's state maharastra, continuous to see large no. of farmer suicides!!
