Hello Sir,

Stone crushed sand/m-sand are very commonly used in Kerala for the last few years. I would say almost all of the houses are constructed using this nowadays due to scarcity of river sand and permit issues. I haven't heard any complains abt the quality or strength of this from anyone that I have spoken to.

Lots of companies are manufacturing m-sand nowadays.

Dear All

I am a construction professional and using M sand since 5 years in all my projects which includes commercial complexes, residential villas and industrial sheds.  You can use this for brick/block works and concrete.

We are not getting proper washed M sand in Bengaluru, if available I would have tested for plastering purposes.  Still I am using river sand for plastering and tile cladding works.

We can use M sand for even laying floor tiles/granite/marble.

I have not received any complaint from clients till now.

I have used only crusher dust /Machine sand for my farm house construction, cement bricks are also made using the same machine sand.

, for plastering I am planning to use River sand.
